NFIP EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 11, 2026

The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) was set to expire on September 30, 2026.

On September 2, 2026, the President signed H.R.6500: Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2027 that extends the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) through December 11, 2026.

Congress must now reauthorize the NFIP by 11:59 p.m. on December 11, 2026.

Proctor Loan Protector will continue to monitor the reauthorization by Congress and provide updates as they are received.
