NFIP Reauthorization Included in Budget Bill
The U.S. Congress passed continuing resolution H.R. 5305, the Extending Government Funding and Delivering Emergency Assistance Act, on Thursday to keep the government running until December 3, 2021 or the enactment of the Appropriations Act, whichever occurs first. Part of that bill included the reauthorization of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) until that date.
