NFIP Reauthorization Update
Recently, Proctor brought to your attention that the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) will expire on November 17, 2023.
On November 15th, Congress passed a bipartisan Continuing Resolution to avert a government shutdown and extend the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) through February 2, 2024. The Further Continuing Appropriations and Other Extensions Act, 2024, H. R. 6363 is expected to be signed by President Biden before current government funding expires at midnight tomorrow.
