NFIP EXTENDED TO DECEMBER 20, 2024
The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) was set to expire on September 30, 2024.
On September 26, 2024, the White House issued a Press Release that President Bident signed into law H.R. 9747, the “Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025,” to avert a government shutdown and extend the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) through December 20, 2024.
Congress must now reauthorize the NFIP by 11:59 p.m. on December 20, 2024.
