MortgageOrb: Watt Announces New Special Advisors At FHFA
Mel Watt, newly appointed director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), has appointed four special advisors to provide counsel on policy and strategic decisions at the agency, which serves as the conservator of government-sponsored enterprises Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
As per an FHFA press release, Megan Moore, who has worked at the U.S. Department of the Treasury since June 2009, will join the FHFA as special advisor, intergovernmental. Moore most recently served as deputy assistant secretary for housing, small business and TARP, in the Office of Legislative Affairs. She also worked in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2006 to 2009. Read more in MortgageOrb.
