Proctor Financial, Inc. Receives ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Certification
TROY, MI — Proctor Financial, Inc., a leading provider of lender-placed hazard insurance and related services, announced today that effective January 21, 2011, it has received the ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The ISO 9001:2008 certification is the most recent and most stringent version in the ISO 9000 series. The audit was conducted by Perry Johnson Registrars, a full service registrar that carries multiple international accreditations. Perry L. Johnson, the founder of PJR, is recognized as one of the world’s foremost authorities in quality management and the author of several related best-seller manuals.
“Proctor Financial has always had a strong commitment to providing exceptional quality while serving clients,” said Valentine Dickerson, Sr. Vice President of Compliance. “Receiving the ISO 9001:2008 certification empirically demonstrates our commitment to quality service.”
Proctor Financial’s quality statement “to be a market leader, unique in service, with unwavering integrity and dedication to excellence in quality and continual improvement” represents a firm commitment by Proctor Financial’s senior management team to monitor, control and continually improve the quality of its lender-placed insurance processes pursuant to the ISO 9001:2008 standards.
It was management’s focus on continual improvement of quality that prompted Proctor Financial to seek the ISO 9001:2008 certification — and not just the certification itself.
“The disciplined attention to detail and continuous improvement recognized by the ISO 9001 designation represents the key underpinning in our commitment to servicing our clients’ needs,” said Paul Glantz, President. “It is at the heart of our value proposition.”
