Proctor Loan Protector Announces Leadership Transition: Jason Holladay to Step Down, Stephen Willcocks Promoted to VP of Client Technology

Troy, Michigan – Proctor Loan Protector, a leader in lender-placed insurance and insurance tracking, announced a significant leadership change within its Client Technology (CTech department. After 14 years of dedicated service, Jason Holladay, who has served as the head of the CTech team since 2021, will be stepping down to take on a technical contributor role within the company. Stepping into his former role is Stephen Willcocks, who has been promoted to Vice President of Client Technology.

Jason Holladay joined Proctor Loan Protector as an enterprise architect in 2010 and led the company through transformative technology investments. Under his leadership, the CTech team played a pivotal role in the company’s growth, playing an integral role to Proctor Loan Protector becoming one the largest MGAs in the industry. Although Jason is retiring from his leadership role, he will remain involved to oversee a few key projects during this transitional period.

In conjunction with this announcement, Proctor Loan Protector is thrilled to promote Stephen Willcocks to Vice President of Client Technology. Stephen brings over 25 years of experience in software development, including his most recent tenure at Proctor Loan Protector, where he played a critical role in developing systems for Loss Drafts, policy procurement, and Lender-Placed Claims.

Born in England, Stephen studied at Salesian College Farnborough, earned his BSc in biochemistry/chemistry from the University of Leeds, and completed his MBA at Oakland University. His career began with infrastructure support, later working as a programmer for Zurich Insurance and the UK Post Office. In 2001, he joined ComSpec International, where he developed college administration systems and custom software.

Stephen’s relationship with Proctor Loan Protector begin in 2012 as a vendor, serving as the system architect for several enterprise applications. In 2018, Stephen was hired to join the company and served as both Manager and Director of Application Development.
